I have chosen to work with my hands and the materials provided by nature.

For my palette I take the soft living wool of sheep, washed in pure water to display their own colours, or with dyes pressed from the flowers, stems, roots or fruits of plants. I try to use natural dyes as much as possible in my work and only use chemicals if a natural source is unavailable.

I will often add details in silk, beads and feathers. Sometimes I mix in items that I have found in thrift shops, lovingly recycled.

Each picture or garment I make with my own hands, my eyes and my heart. I never know exactly what will happen! Each piece that comes into being in this way is unique, as is each person who sees it.
